Recently, a batch of cryogenic ball valves produced by CHV for a domestic production capacity construction ground project successfully passed factory acceptance and were shipped under the witness of the owner's representative. The diameter of the cryogenic ball valve in this project ranges from DN50 to DN800 (currently the largest diameter in China - 196°C cryogenic ball valve), and the design minimum temperature is -196°C. The low-temperature test acceptance standard of the valve is in accordance with SHELL 77/200, and the leakage does not exceed 1/1 of the requirement of BS 6364.
This batch of cryogenic ball valves were produced by the company's employees under the circumstances of short time and tight construction period. They strictly controlled the quality, worked overtime to meet the construction deadline, and worked hard to tackle key problems. They overcame various difficulties in the design and production of ultra large diameter cryogenic valves, and ultimately completed the required performance tests. The performance indicators met the technical requirements of the project and were delivered perfectly.
Since 2013, CHV has been committed to the research and development of cryogenic valves, overcoming difficulties in material selection, structural design, high-precision sealing surface batch processing, product batch assembly, and batch testing of low-temperature ball valves. It has achieved localization and mass production of cryogenic valve products. The cryogenic valves produced by our company have been widely used in multiple projects in China, such as Kela Meili Gas Field, Mahe Gas Field, Tarim Oilfield, and Beihai LNG, with good feedback on their effectiveness. CHV will continue to innovate and make breakthroughs to meet the stringent requirements of customers in different industries for cryogenic valves, promote the continuous progress of domestic low-temperature valve technology, and make due contributions to the low-temperature valve industry!
