Product Overview
Jacketed ball valve, also known as insulated ball valve. It is a metal jacket welded on the basis of the shell of ball valve, used for injecting steam or other insulation and cold insulation media to ensure the normal operation of the medium inside the valve. The valve adopts an integral structure, which is smaller in volume and lighter in weight than ordinary ball valves, and has no external leakage and good sealing performance; The jacket, valve body outer side, and jacket connecting pipe are welded, and the maximum allowable pressure for steam or cold water is 1MPa. Mainly used in various systems such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, and food, to transport high viscosity media that will solidify at room temperature.
Design and inspection can follow standards such as API 6D, ASME B16.34, API 598, ASME B16.5, ASME B16.10, etc. Fire safety meets the requirements of API607/API 6FA and has been tested and certified. NACE anti-corrosion and acid resistance and ISO 15156 are optional.
